Our Client:
We’re very excited to be working with a prestigious private member’s club in Singapore. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth, internationally expanding business at a pivotal stage of its evolution. With multiple markets and new openings on the horizon, the role will suit a commercially minded legal leader who enjoys working close to the business and influencing strategy at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
– Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director and working closely with the Board and Executive team, you will take ownership of the global legal and governance agenda.
– Act as a senior legal advisor to the Board and Executive team, supporting strategic and commercial decision-making
– Provide legal oversight on international expansion, including new openings, partnerships, and corporate structuring
– Advise on joint ventures, leases, investment structures, and other key commercial arrangements
– Lead all commercial contracting activity, ensuring consistency, quality, and commercial alignment across the business
– Partner with internal functions including operations, HR, finance, and IT to provide practical legal guidance
Key Requirements:
– UK-qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience (ideally 7+ years PQE)
– Experience gained in a combination of leading law firm and in-house environments
– Strong background in corporate, commercial and governance matters
– Experience operating in international, multi-jurisdictional environments
– Proven ability to advise at Board and Executive level
