We are seeking a meticulous VAT Accountant to manage all aspects of VAT and associated taxes for our company. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can accurately deal with complex VAT issues within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.

Description

  • Manage and coordinate all VAT related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all VAT regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of VAT returns and related tax reports.
  • Liaise with external auditors and handle VAT audits.
  • Develop strategies to minimise corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of changes in VAT laws and regulations that may impact the company.
  • Provide internal VAT/GST training to staff.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.

Profile

A successful VAT Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Professional qualification as an ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of VAT legislation and its application within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
  • Ability to handle complex VAT issues.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £55,000 – £65,000 GBP per annum.
