We are seeking a meticulous VAT Accountant to manage all aspects of VAT and associated taxes for our company. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can accurately deal with complex VAT issues within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.

Description
- Manage and coordinate all VAT related activities.
- Ensure compliance with all VAT regulations and reporting requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of VAT returns and related tax reports.
- Liaise with external auditors and handle VAT audits.
- Develop strategies to minimise corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of changes in VAT laws and regulations that may impact the company.
- Provide internal VAT/GST training to staff.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
Profile
A successful VAT Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional qualification as an ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Knowledge of VAT legislation and its application within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
- Ability to handle complex VAT issues.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £55,000 – £65,000 GBP per annum.
