Description
- Line management and development of a small team.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with department heads to develop and manage budgets effectively.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to inform business planning.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Support the implementation of financial systems and processes.
- Mentor and develop junior team members within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Lead Finance Business Partner should have:
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
- Strong line management experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
