Description

  • Line management and development of a small team.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with department heads to develop and manage budgets effectively.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to inform business planning.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost optimisation.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Lead Finance Business Partner should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
  • Strong line management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
