Private Client Solicitor – Plymouth
Are you ready to take the next step in your private client career? A long standing and well established Plymouth firm are looking for a talented Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their growing Wills, Trusts, Tax and Probate team. With ambitious plans for the future and a strong track record of recent growth, it’s a great time to join them.
This dedicated team supports individuals, families, trustees, and professionals through some of life’s most important and often emotional moments. From wealth protection and succession planning to guiding clients through bereavement, they pride themselves on delivering clear, compassionate, and expert legal advice.
The team advise on the full suite of private client services, including:
- Drafting and updating Wills
- Estate and Inheritance Tax planning
- Creation and administration of Trusts
- Dissolution of Trusts
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of Attorney
- Acting as Independent Executors
The Role
The successful private client lawyer will manage a varied caseload spanning wills, trusts, probate, estate and tax planning, and powers of attorney. Experience in contentious probate is welcome but not essential. You will be expected to provide clear, pragmatic advice to a broad range of clients, often at sensitive times so strong communication skills and emotional intelligence is key.
Requirements:
- Strong grounding in private client law
- Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload
- Confidence dealing with clients directly
- Exceptional communication skills
- STEP qualification or working towards it (desirable but not essential)
