Description

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, project control reports, and cashflow statements for commercial related activities.

  • Ensure accurate financial records and accounting entries are maintained across all systems.

  • Manage and review funding drawdowns and support compliance with external stakeholders, including JV partners and funders.

  • Assist with the development of forecasts, business plans, and annual statutory financial statements.

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to provide effective financial support and deputise for the manager when needed.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Fully qualified or Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
  • Experience in preparing management accounts
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work effectively in a team
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience of preparing management accounts, forecasts, annual budgets
