Description

  • Lead the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and funding strategies.
  • Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement across all finance operations.

Profile

A successful Interim Head of Finance should:

  • Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Proven senior-level finance experience in the NFP sector (international or social entreprise)
  • Significant all-round accounting, full grants cycle management, compliance, risk and financial sustainability experience
  • Strong knowledge of strategic business planning
  • Direct exposure of financial reporting to a Board of Trustees and major donors
