Head of Central Production Unit (Grab-and-Go Food Brand)

We are working with a successful grab-and-go food brand entering an exciting new phase of growth. They are now looking for an experienced Head of Central Production Unit (CPU) to lead their production operations in South London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic business that’s scaling rapidly, with plans to double in size over the next three years. You will play a key role in shaping the operation, improving efficiency, and building a strong foundation for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 30+ across production, logistics, and operations.

Oversee the end-to-end CPU function, from raw ingredients to finished product distribution.

Drive efficiency, quality, and consistency, introducing best practices and operational structure.

Manage both wholesale and retail accounts, maintaining high standards and service levels.

Take ownership of costing, margins, and commercial performance, ensuring profitability targets are met.

Work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver the brand’s growth strategy.
About You

Experienced leader within a grab-and-go, fresh food, or production environment.

Skilled in managing large teams (30+) in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Strong commercial and analytical mindset, confident working with numbers and KPIs.

A hands-on, structured, and adaptable manager who leads by example.
