The finance function is central to achieving this mission, driving efficiency and enabling strategic decision-making.

Description

· Support Finance Business Partners by producing timely and accurate analysis and reporting at a transactional level .

· Assist with the preparation of financial results, including management accounts, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and statutory accounts.

· Provide insightful variance analysis to support decision-making and drive performance improvements.

· Lead on the accounting for surpluses and deficits on variable service charges, including reviews, analysis, commentary, and reconciliations.

· Produce journals and deliver comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.

· Contribute to finance projects, process reviews, and system enhancements to improve efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Profile

* Experience of service charge accounting in a social housing environment desirable.

* Knowledge of housing legislation and Housing Association systems advantageous.

* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel essential).

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders effectively.

* Organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads to meet deadlines.

Job Offer

* £43,000 to £46,000 per annum

* Fully remote working (with occasional travel for team meetings as required)
