Description

  • Manage and optimise procurement processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers
  • Ensure timely delivery of products, adhering to strict quality standards
  • Participate in the development of procurement strategies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

  • Working towards CIPS qualification
  • Proven experience in a Buyer role
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in supply chain software programs
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
