Agricultural Litigation Solicitor/Associate – 2+ PQE – Bristol.

Location: Bristol (other office locations considered)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week (flexible working options available)
Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 plus benefits
PQE: Minimum 2 years

Chadwick Nott are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected law firm in Bristol, currently seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join their leading Agricultural Litigation team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of one of the largest Agriculture and Land teams in the UK, recognised as Band 1 by Chambers & Partners and Top Tier by Legal 500. You’ll be advising high-net-worth farming and landowning clients on a wide range of complex and rewarding disputes.

The Role
You’ll work closely with a Partner and handle a varied caseload, including:

  • Property litigation (e.g. rights of way, boundary disputes)
  • Farm partnership and inheritance disputes
  • Contractual and professional negligence claims

Candidate Requirements

  • This vacancy arises due to a team member’s departure and is not suitable for newly qualified solicitors. However, candidates with a strong background in property litigation who are keen to transition into agricultural work are warmly encouraged to apply.

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in property or agricultural litigation
  • Strong technical expertise and sound judgment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach
  • A collaborative and client-focused mindset

Location & Working Arrangements

  • This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of office and remote working. While the role is primarily based in Bristol, other office locations may be considered for the right candidate. Applications from those seeking a 4-day working week are also welcome.
