Description

Prepare and process quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, year-end financial statements, and account reconciliations.

Attend client meetings, taking a proactive role in planning, research, and ongoing communication to support their financial needs.

Manage correspondence and queries with HMRC and Companies House in a timely and professional manner.

Draft formal letters and documentation in accordance with internal branding and communication standards.

Support the development and training of the Accounts Senior, fostering continuous professional growth within the team.

Provide detailed financial analysis and forecasting, identifying potential issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Assist with tax compliance processes, including the collation, preparation, submission, and review of both individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy for final submission.
Profile
A successful Accounts Manager should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
- A solid working understanding of accounting, corporation tax and personal tax.
- Knowledge of different accounting softwares.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
