About the Opportunity
I am hiring on behalf of a luxury hospitality property in Nantucket, MA, seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Manager to join their team on a full-time, year-round basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong F&B experience who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and overseeing day-to-day restaurant and beverage operations within a high-end hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations and ensure consistently high service standards.
- Lead, train, mentor, and develop F&B team members.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience across all dining and beverage outlets.
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, service, and floor coverage.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.
- Monitor service standards and address guest feedback in a professional manner.
- Work closely with culinary leadership to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house operations.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost controls.
- Monitor labor and operating costs while maintaining service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Help develop and implement operational procedures and service standards.
- Support F&B leadership with events, functions, and special guest experiences.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous management experience within Food & Beverage, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, resorts, or clubs.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and guest relations experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on management approach.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, labor management, and cost control preferred.
- Hospitality or related education is an asset but not required.
