Agriculture & Rural Property Solicitor / Associate
Location: Salisbury
We’re looking for a bright, proactive Solicitor or Associate with a passion for Agriculture and Rural Property to join a dynamic and friendly team in Salisbury. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a highly ranked and forward-thinking department working with estates, farmers, landowners, and rural businesses across the South.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a supportive, busy team handling a broad mix of quality work, including:
- Buying and selling farms, estates, and country homes
- Advising on agricultural tenancies and business structures
- Handling rights of way, easements, equestrian leases, and sporting rights
- Working on renewable energy schemes and natural capital projects
- Supporting landowners with estate planning and succession strategies
Ideal Candidate
- 1-5 years PQE, ideally with some exposure to rural or agricultural property
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a client-first approach
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, down-to-earth culture
Bonus if you’ve worked on:
- Renewable energy or biodiversity projects
- Agricultural tenancy matters
- Equine property or rural sporting agreements
