- ESG policy developments and regulatory capital impact in tandem with UK, European, Basel, and other bodies’ views [to learn – not important to have exposure to ESG]
- Track new ESG related policy developments and formulate interpretations of these response to future regulatory developments
- Writing public responses to new proposed standards and brief senior management
- Review transactions under Global Standards Manual (GSM) process for regulatory clearance with a net zero emissions lense
- Experience of ESG matters and the various ESG reporting and regulatory initiatives (TCFD, ISSB, TNFD, CSRD, SEC, PCAF, PRA SS 3/19, Green taxonomies) is preferable

- PRIORITY SKILL SET –> Knowledge of the rules related to the calculation of regulatory capital and RWA, as well as any associated reporting and disclosures (Basel, EU, PRA, or another major regulatory regime)

- Experience of ESG matters and the various ESG reporting and regulatory initiatives (TCFD, ISSB, TNFD, CSRD, SEC, PCAF, PRA SS 3/19, Green taxonomies) is preferable
- An understanding of the risk, regulatory, and accounting treatment of a broad range of products, particularly those related to green finance, consulting with SMEs
- Ability to formulate and articulate defensible interpretations of regulatory and non-financial reporting requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ideally Accounting or Risk Qualified
