Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Energy Efficiency Surveyor for a temporary assignment within a busy public sector organisation in Bromsgrove/Redditch. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring all construction projects are carried out in accordance with the necessary guidelines and standards.

Description

Survey and assess residnetial social housing to identify improvement opportunities (e.g. insulation, glazing, heating upgrades)

Produce retrofit assessments in line with PAS2035 standards
- EPC and Stock Surveys
- Expereiuenced within retrofit in social housing

Support the delivery of funded programmes (e.g. SHDF, ECO, LAD)

Carry out EPCs and energy modelling using approved tools/software

Advise tenants and internal teams on energy efficiency measures and potential outcomes

Work with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to monitor project delivery and performance

Ensure compliance with statutory and funding requirements, including MEES and Net Zero targets
Profile
A successful Building Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a energy related field.
- Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA); Retrofit Assessor/Coordinator desirable
- Proven experience in the construction industry, preferably within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations and health and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software.
